[GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado] – Junction Brain Health is pleased to announce that Dr. Walter Standridge, MD, has joined the organization as Chief Psychiatrist at its Grand Junction, CO clinic, further strengthening the clinic’s commitment to delivering advanced, evidence-based mental health care to the Western Slope.
Dr. Standridge brings decades of clinical experience in psychiatry, with a career spanning outpatient care, inpatient treatment, and procedural psychiatry, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). He completed his psychiatry residency in 1994 at the University of Colorado for Health Sciences in Denver, now the CU Anschutz Psychiatry Residency Program.
Throughout his career, Dr. Standridge has practiced extensively in Colorado and has also served patients in Oregon, New Mexico, and Arizona. He has held leadership roles as Medical Director for multiple hospital-based psychiatric programs and is widely respected for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care.
